THE CROWN FOUNDATION

100% bamboo ceremonial Agbada with raised tone-on-tone embroidery, inner kaftan, relaxed trousers, and ceremonial cap.

Crown is the fullest expression of the Agbada Foundation line — a complete ceremonial garment system cut in substantial 100% bamboo and built for presence, proportion, and permanence.

The outer agbada is designed with architectural scale: broad sculptural shoulders, a lowered crown neckline, dual-opening sleeve construction, and controlled side volume that falls in deep vertical lines around the body. It does not behave like a robe. It carries itself, creating a composed ceremonial silhouette from every angle.

At the center, raised tone-on-tone embroidery forms the garment’s visual axis. The work is restrained, but not simple — sculpted to give the piece depth, hierarchy, and quiet authority without interrupting the purity of the cloth.

Beneath the robe, the inner kaftan is finished with the same discipline: a clean collarless neckline, concealed placket, self-covered buttons, tailored barrel cuffs, side-seam pockets, and refined interior construction. Relaxed trousers balance the volume with ease, while the ceremonial cap completes the silhouette in one continuous tonal language.

Soft in hand. Substantial in weight. Calm in finish. Built for weddings, rites of passage, formal gatherings, family milestones, and the moments where dress becomes legacy.

  • The Crown Agbada is a full ceremonial silhouette designed around grandeur, restraint, and architectural balance.

The outer robe is shaped with broad shoulder presence, a lowered crown neckline, controlled side volume, and a long composed front fall. Its dual-opening sleeve architecture preserves ceremonial scale while allowing the arms to move naturally.

The inner kaftan sits beneath the robe with a clean collarless neckline, concealed placket, self-covered button, barrel cuffs, side slits, and a relaxed straight line. Full-cut trousers complete the system with pleats, an overlap waistband, wide hem balance, and ease through movement.

The result is formal, grounded, and self-carrying: a complete ceremonial Agbada system designed for presence, proportion, and legacy.

  • Crafted from 100% bamboo, selected for fluid drape, softness, and elevated natural comfort.

The cloth has a substantial yet graceful hand, allowing the robe to fall with weight, movement, and control. Its surface carries a soft natural luster without shine, giving the garment depth while keeping the expression calm and refined.

The bamboo foundation supports raised tonal embroidery, sculptural drape, and long ceremonial wear. It feels smooth against the body while providing enough substance for Crown’s fuller architectural form.

    Material details:

    Composition: 100% bamboo
    Weight: 220–230 GSM
Finish: soft bamboo with natural drape
    Surface: calm luster, not shiny
    Care: professional cleaning recommended

  • Each Crown set is built as a complete ceremonial garment system: outer Agbada robe, inner kaftan, full-cut trousers, and matching ceremonial cap.

The robe is constructed with a lowered crown neckline, dual-opening sleeve architecture, controlled side volume, reinforced hem structure, and a composed vertical front fall. Its structure allows the garment to carry itself while preserving movement and ceremonial breadth.

Raised tonal embroidery forms the central axis of the garment, combining sculpted relief, vertical discipline, and ornamental depth. The embroidery is tonal, architectural, and restrained, giving the robe presence without contrast.

The inner kaftan is finished with a collarless neckline, self-covered button, concealed placket, side-seam pockets, barrel cuffs, back yoke, center box pleat, side slits, and silk-satin interior binding. The trousers feature front pleats, an overlap waistband, side pockets, front crease discipline, wide hem balance, and silk-satin interior finishing.

The ceremonial cap is made in the same foundation fabric, preserving tonal continuity across the full look.

  • Crown is designed to be worn with care and preserved with intention.

Because the garment includes raised embroidery, bamboo fabric, full ceremonial drape, and interior finishing, professional cleaning is recommended. Avoid bleach, tumble drying, harsh detergents, and excessive heat.

    Care guidance:

    Do not bleach.
    Do not tumble dry.
    Professionally clean when possible.
Steam lightly or iron on low heat if needed.
    Protect embroidery from rough handling.
Store folded or hung with care.

Allow the garment to rest properly after wear. A well-kept Crown Agbada should retain its softness, structure, embroidery relief, and ceremonial presence over time.

  • Agbada is designed with generous form, but proportion still matters.

Minor adjustments may be possible after delivery, including trouser hemming, sleeve refinement, robe length review, or small adjustments to the inner kaftan, depending on the garment construction.

Because Crown is shaped around raised embroidery, dual-opening sleeve architecture, bamboo drape, and ceremonial balance, major alterations are not always recommended. Changes should be approached carefully to preserve the garment’s structure and visual axis.
